Although we brought to Sydney most of our stuff from Singapore, we still had to buy a couple of things here. We asked our friends for recommended furniture shops so we have an alternative from buying from nearby Ikea.
One of our friends tipped us to go to a discount furniture store. We drove to the place but found nothing that suited our needs. They sell really bulky furniture that is perfect for big houses. Some were really nice and sturdy looking, but we just needed simple ones to match our small apartment. We ended up buying from Ikea.
